February is Dntal Health Month. Each day at the Elementary School this week there will be a morning announcement about a good dental health practice. Please ask your child what he or she learned. Taking preventive action is your best defense against having to deal with extreme cold-weather conditions. By preparing your home and car in advance for winter emergencies, and by observing safety precautions during times of extremely cold weather, you can reduce the risk of weather-related health problems.
The best way to protect against measles is to get a measles containing vaccination (MMR or MMRV). The Center's for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has resources for parents and guardians to help educate them about measles and the importance of being fully vaccinated.
